Now that the sun has finally decided to make an appearance, the winter 08/09 season has kicked off! Still like they say, better late than never right?
This weekend, the British Snowboard and Freeski Tour heads to SNO!zone, Milton Keynes, to host the Quiksilver Big Air Championships. This year’s tour continues in its quest to inspire more newcomers, offering FREE lessons with the Quiksilver Snowboard and Ski Academy and giving FREE demo testing. Not to mention it will be displaying some of the best Snowboarding and Freeskiing in the UK.

Quiksilver British Big Air Championships Schedule:
• 9am - 3:30pm: Quiksilver Snowboard Big Air Championships
• 12noon - 7:30pm: Quiksilver Freeski Big Air Championships
• 12noon - 4pm: FREE Beginner Ski & Snowboard Lessons with the Quiksilver Snowboard/Ski Academy

While most kids are concerning themselves with games consoles at the age of 12, Anna Leddra-Chapman took a different route: she picked up one of her dad’s acoustic guitars for the first time, sat down and began to write her first song. With a spine tingling voice and heart stopping lyrics that belie her youth, Anna Leddra-Chapman bares her soul with stripped down songs that bring to mind artists such as Joni Mitchell and Tracy Chapman. Anna is currently working with world renowned writers and producers on her debut album due for release in Spring 09.
