Preparing for your winter break

January is generally a good month to head to the slopes of Europe to get in a week of skiing. Most people are still recovering from the excesses of Christmas and the slopes can be quite quiet. If you can avoid going skiing during peak times, which is generally Christmas, school holidays and Easter, then you may be able to get a good deal for you and your friends.

Once you’ve booked your ski trip, you need to start getting together your ski gear. This should include a Roxy or Quiksilver snow jacket and snow pants, thermals, ski socks, a hat and a pair of Roxy or Quiksilver goggles.
