Preparing for your winter break
Thursday, December 31st, 2009January is generally a good month to head to the slopes of Europe to get in a week of skiing. Most people are still recovering from the excesses of Christmas and the slopes can be quite quiet. If you can avoid going skiing during peak times, which is generally Christmas, school holidays and Easter, then you may be able to get a good deal for you and your friends.
Once you’ve booked your ski trip, you need to start getting together your ski gear. This should include a Roxy or Quiksilver snow jacket and snow pants, thermals, ski socks, a hat and a pair of Roxy or Quiksilver goggles.
When it comes to choosing which snow jacket and snow pants to choose from, Roxy and Quiksilver have a fantastic range so you’ll be spoilt for choice. You want to make sure that your jacket and pants fit properly before you go on your trip; the last thing you want is for your jacket to be too small or for the pants to be too big. Roxy and Quiksilver snow jackets and snow pants come in sizes ranging from extra small to extra large so there will be a jacket and pair of pants that will fit you.
